Gillian designs and creates beautiful, unique nineteenth century style corsets for both evening and bridal wear.

She started her business six years ago as very much a part time venture whilst her two children were small. 18 months ago Gillian sought the support of WBDA in an effort to raise the profile of her home based business.

Recent commissions have included a pop video for singer songwriter Sneha Mistri.

Gillian has attracted a lot of press interest recently from The Birmingham Evening Mail, The Coventry Evening Telegraph, The Kenilworth Citizen, The Kenilworth Weekly News, Warwickshire Choice, Warwickshire Life, Black Hair Magazine, BBC Midlands Today and BBC Radio Coventry.

A Fashion Showcase of Gillian’s designs is to be held at The Saxon Mill on 12th May 05. Gillian has specially created a pink corset which is to be raffled in aid of Breakthrough For Breast Cancer.

Future plans for the business include placing her designs into designer retail outlets, having her work featured in a national fashion magazine and naturally, an appearance on “Absolutely Fabulous!!!”
