We bought this farm about ten years back. During these 10 years I was so involved in raising three daughters that managing my farm was just a task to be accomplished.

When my daughters started going to college I had more time to look around and inquire the gardener about the saplings he was planting.

Gradually, my interest in gardening specially drying flowers grew.

Initially I arranged baskets for friends and relatives and they really liked my arrangements. Encouraged by the response, I put up a stall in local Meena Bazar. My Somaya Dry Flowers Craft was an instant success.

Dried Flowers

From here there was no turning back, and I decided to set up a dry flower farm. After first harvest, when time came to market my product I felt unsure and silly. So I decided to take up some course in business.

I came across WBDA Online Business Start up Program through browsing. I have learned so much from this course. It has definitely added to my skills and knowledge, and I feel better about my ability to run my own business. I will use it as a reference time and time again.

The class was very helpful I would suggest that anyone considering to start a business attends this type of class as a bare minimum.
